Yesterday was Day Two of the national celebration of British flowers being held by The New Covent Garden Flower Natket.
The florist is Hattie Fox of That Flower Shop showcasing our beautiful British foliage.
Hattie has focused on bring a wide variety of textures, a warm palette and a haphazard natural composition to her three arrangments, which inclued an enamel jug, a ceramic boat style vase and a a large, wild handtie. Hattie stated that ‘one of the lovely things about using British flowers is that the limited variety of what’s in season pushes you to try new things’, and we couldn’t agree more.
If you would like to see today’s flowers as they unfold, or find events being held near you, you can do so, here.
